How Compass Place Collects SMS Opt-In Consent
Users download the Compass Place mobile app and create an account by providing their mobile phone number. During registration, before submitting, users must check a consent checkbox that states:
This consent checkbox is required — users cannot complete registration without checking it. Opt-in is collected exclusively through the mobile app registration flow.
After consenting, users may receive SMS messages from Compass Place including:
Message frequency varies based on user activity. During active tour scheduling, users may receive multiple messages per day. Otherwise, messages are periodic and activity-based.
Users can opt out of SMS communications at any time by:
After opting out, users receive a confirmation message. Users may opt back in at any time through the App settings.
